Hey there, this is Carolyn Griffey and it's great to be the newest
edition
of Shalamar! It's such a labor of love for me especially since I was
THE
#1 SHALAMAR FAN IN LIFE! And growing up with all of them in my life
was an awesome experience! It was such a pleasure and a privilege to
perform in the UK and THANK YOU SO MUCH for your love and support!!!
Shalamar will be back in the UK in July so look out for us then. Stay

I have to say that becoming the third member of Shalamar is such and
honor
at the same time I feel it's my rightful place to be, being that I've
been around
these guys from the beginning. Funny that people try to compare me
with Jody,
but ...there is no comparison cause she was such an awesome part of the
trio and
I was always a fan of hers as well. Just as well as knowing and being
close to
Delisa Davis the 2nd female of the group who to this day is a lovely
woman and
very talented..
My position in this group is to carry on with love,
energy and chemistry
which I feel the guys and I are blessed to have together. In my eyes,
we are not trying
to replace anyone, just carry on and take Shalamar into a new
millennium and another
level. Plus doing it with two gentlemen that are both family to me is
another plus. I
believe that there is a time and a place for everything and I feel that
our time is now.
It was exciting growing up so close to this group and watching the
evolution of it then
as you all can witness another stage of evolution. On top of
everything else.... We LOVE
THE UK!!! And plan to spend as much time here as we can. So thank you
all once again
for embracing me the way you have and I promise to always give my best
and we will Make
That Move and continue to Make you feel good with Performances to
Remember! And be on
the lookout for my big brother Jeffrey in the UK, he's got a lot going
on and he's spending
